VERACRUZ™ FASHION SCARF
TO BENEFIT SUSAN G. KOMEN FOR THE CURE
To date, A&A Optical has donated over $50,000 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and is committed to support the promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by developing creative programs to drive additional support and awareness to the cause.
This October, A&A Optical introduces its first limited edition VeraCruz™ fashion scarf to commemorate national breast cancer awareness month. A&A Optical encourages their customers, families and friends to take this opportunity to join them in the fight for the cure. The limited edition scarf is available for retail purchase through A&A Optical sales representatives or on the website, aaopticalco.com. $2.00 from the sale of each scarf will go to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Customers can receive free scarves for their office or retail shop by purchasing a minimum quantity of VeraCruz™ eyewear through A&A Optical's Fashionable Fight offer releasing in October 2009.
A&A Optical Company furthers the Susan G. Komen for the Cure message through the dynamic VeraCruz™ collection. Look for the pink ribbon on all VeraCruz™ frames.
About Susan G. Komen for the Cure
Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982 that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure, we have invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill our promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to fight against breast cancer in the world.
